Wild Card Class Day 2 project #3

Oh, boy! Oh, boy!! Oh, boy!!! This project is fun one! The movement for #3 is a spinner.

This was another one I thought about most of the day…what stamp set to use, how was I gonna execute it! This wonderful card just kinda fell together for me and I adore it!

See the bottom? It’s a dial, I drew the castle, masked the hell out of it…then stenciled the brick with distress inks. Started with this little lady! Its me, I’m a Princess!

Every Princess needs her Knight in shining armor! My knight wears denim and a ball cap!

The knight needs to defend her against the mean ole dragon….right?! Look at this guy…maybe she needs a pet! That’s how I would roll! My dragon, my knight in denim, and I would eat s’mores….in my castle, all day!

Life with my knight is pretty magical…and we lived happily ever after…or at least until we ran out of chocolate! Thanks for hanging out today!

Wild Card Class Day 2 project #2

Kristina did a wonderful job of explaining how to make a ‘magic slider card’. You’re intrigued….I know, I was too! Then I watched the video like 7 times, and ventured out to made my very own ‘magic slider’!!! (Sorry it is late, while I type this, and I’m a bit slap happy!)

Because I know it is coming…full force…I am trying to be a bit pro active! (Love this WPlus9 set!

card-class-22-smMy paper warped a tiny…especially on the left side. But I still love how it turned out! I envy bloggers who smoothly transition to the end…I guess I’m just one of those who say bye, and wave for 15 minutes! I’m waving….have a great day!  Thanks for coming by…

I made a slider card in his honor! He’s always in some crazy position…

Why not in a park and down a slide! LOL  I’ll be back…I was a busy bee today. 🙂 Thanks for coming by!

Wild Card Class project #3

So I kinda went backwards on these but these last 3 cards are from Day 1! Shape cards, I love them…they don’t like me much!

card-class-12-smNot that I didn’t enjoy making it…it  was the black on black I think! So exciting…there it is! Thanks for popping by!

Wild Card Project #2

Ok, so I thought about this one all afternoon. After dinner, I went into the studio….with a plan! I followed everything to a ‘T’! I like how it turned out. I created a Halloween party using Mama Elephant stamps.

I stamped my background, followed the lesson plan….

Colored my images with copics…glued, cussed, glued some more….

Had a lot more party guest made, but didn’t have the room! Frank and Hilda are holding hands! 😉

Most of the guest are from Bootastic…except my favorite guest! He is from Sunday Stroll…colored like a ZOMBIE! I adore this box….very time consuming but well worth it!

If you like this…you should sign up for the class! Thanks for coming by today…day 2 has a lot more to ‘think about’. Hoping I have time to get something done!! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

Tiddly Inks Challenge #191

Hi! I am squeezing this in at the end of the challenge!! The challenge is ‘Anything Goes”!

I am using Wryn Fairy Wishes. I decided that her wand  is where the magic happens, so as she waves it, the color comes into the room! I used wink of stella and even some iridescent heat embossing powder to add shine, that I just can’t seem to catch on camera! Thanks for stopping by…I really enjoyed making this one layer card!

Wild Card Class

I am participating in the Online Card Class….Wild Card!  This class is all about interactive cards which is all the rage currently! I like making them for all the kids in my world! Been looking forward to this since I signed up!!

I started by making a gate fold card, while Grace was napping. There a few things I could have improved on….be mindful of your sentiments inside…mine is peeking out a bit.

I used memory box grave yard die, tiny town tree die from PTI and Altenew’s To the Moon stamp set! Distress inks in Pumice Stone, Hickory Smoke, Twisted Citron, Shabby Shutters, Mowed Lawn, Pine Needles and Black Soot! The card is light gray card stock…

I heat embossed the sentiment from an old CTMH set. I like how it turned out! I am all about the creepy! :0)

Thanks for popping by today! Please share your blog link with me in the comments…I love checking out others creations! Have a good one and I will be back….very soon!

MFT Card Design Contest #3

Hey y’all! I am the youngest of 7 and I have a lot of nieces and nephews….13 to be exact. I also have great nieces and nephews…26 of them…and I am even a great-great Aunt to 5!  So when it comes to making cards for kids…I always use MFT stamps. With that being said I realized when I wanted to make an adult card for this contest, I really only had ‘kid type’ stamps. I decided to make a Christmas card for my last entry. I used BB Santa’s Elves & Trim the Tree.mft-xmas-sm

I used the smaller sized stamps and scattered them around on some smooth white cards stock. Colored them with various copic markers. I used the Stitched Circle Scalloped frame and heat embossed the sentiment. Added some wink of stella, gems and ribbon.

So I hope you swing by MFT, and join the contest. I am hoping to have some free time this weekend to go visit some of the other crafter’s and see what everyone is creating!!  Hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Thanks for coming by today!

MFT Card Design Contest #2

Hi! I’m back! I am submitting another card for the contest. As I said before, I love MFT products, use them all the time.  Here is my card:

I got this idea from Kelly Latevola and the technique she used here.  I used Magical Unicorns, and colored everything with copics for a one layered card.

I also added some iridescent embossing powder to add extra shine and  used wink of stella on the unicorn and rainbow. Thanks for coming by today. Its beautiful outside so Grace and I are going for a walk in the neighborhood!  Have a good one!  😉

MFT Card Design Superstar Contest

Hey y’all! I have decided to try out for the card design contested hosted by My Favorite Things. You can find out all the details here. You can submit up to 3 entries, using MFT stamps and dies. Let’s be honest, we all love their products and I know I have quite the assortment! So, the minute, the very second these sweet Dragons were previewed, I knew I HAD to have them! I adore Birdie Brown images!!

I had blown through all the ‘kid’ cards I had made and was in dire need to replenish my stash! I used masking paper and covered the cloud area then used Tumbled Glass distress ink with a mini blender. I used a T1 and T2 copic marker to roughly outline the smoked ‘happy’.  Mimicking the puff of smoke,  I free handed the outline around the happy, with a copic multiliner. Then colored (with copics) and fussy cut the lil dragons out, popping them up, for some dimension. Couldn’t finish it off without wink of stella and sequins.

I love them! Thanks for stopping by today, hope your day is beautiful! I’ll be back soon!
